Our Convention Registration will open Thursday afternoon at 3:00 PM at the same time as the Hotel Check-in.  Come and get your weekend credentials and welcome bags.  Everyone is welcome to tour Orlando, International Drive or just hang out at the many restaurants at the hotel or hang out at the pool.  We have secured tickets on the I-Drive Trolley to assist you with your transportation needs.

Please join us Thursday Evening from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM for our Opening Session.  This Interactive Session will allow all attendees to introduce themselves, provide their fondest memories of their time in the Fraternity and to express their expectations for the Conference.  Each Chapter and Alumni Club will be expected to provide pictures to use for their Introduction followed by “Welcome” during Roll Call.

Following the Opening Session, we will have a Meet and Greet of all attendees and local Alumni as well as a Poolside Dessert Reception.  This will set the stage for a great conference of relationship building amongst all TEΦ’s, a chance to reunite our Undergraduates our Alumni and the opportunity for our Alumni to reflect on their days at TEΦ.

Friday, July 22, 2016

Following  a Breakfast Buffet, we will open the Grand Chapter Meeting on Friday Morning with an introduction of Grand Chapter Leadership, followed by a Roll Call of all Chapters and Alumni Clubs. Friday will focus on Leadership Seminars, Honors and Awards by the TEP Foundation. Holmes Murphy Willis Insurance Company will provide Two (2) Seminars on Risk Management and Insurance, Hazing, Sexual Assault and Alcohol with an emphasis on our Policies for both Undergraduate Chapters and Alumni Clubs.

Our seated buffet lunch will include a Presentation and Awards Ceremony on behalf of The TEP Foundation, followed by Three (3) Interactive Leadership Sessions.  These will include: A Presentation from Mr. Clay Coleman, the University of Southern Florida Greek Advisor and/or UCF Staff. An Open Forum Discussion on the Best Programs of Your Chapter and the Delivery of the Chapters Annual Report.  This session will provide each attendee the opportunity to discuss the best programs of their chapter combined with an open forum discussion on each topic. Chapter Financial Management, Risk Management and Insurance, Rush and Recruitment, New Member Education, Brotherhood Development, Ritual and Alumni Relations will also be discussed to aid the undergraduate leadership with its chapter duties and responsibilities as an officer or member of the organization. And lastly, our final Friday Session will focus on responsible leadership,  which includes an interactive session for all attendees.

Following our Seminars and a Break, we will bring Universal and Florida to you.  We will depart the Hotel on our Chartered Bus for a Private Dinner at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Orlando Restaurant (the ultimate Florida food destination). Escape Margaritaville, right in the center of Universal Orlando Citywalk in Orlando, Florida.  From a flowing volcano to suspended airplanes, Margaritaville is more than a restaurant; it’s a state of mind.  Margaritaville has everything you need to have a good time: great island-inspired food, live music and two levels of outdoor seating overlooking CityWalk. Chill out on the Porch of Indecision or dip your toes in the sand at the Lone Palm Airport.  Please enjoy the tropical atmosphere which transitions to a light night scene and live music from Scott Baker at 7:00 PM and Orange Avenue on the Main Stage at 9:00 PM.

Following dinner, your participation includes admission to Universal Orlando CityWalk.  Please enjoy all Universal CityWalk has to offer with your fellow Undergraduates or Alumni.  At 11:00 PM, our Chartered Bus will return to The Rosen Center Hotel for time on your own.

Saturday, July 23, 2016

Saturday Morning begins with a Buffet Breakfast and the beginning of our Grand Chapter Official Business Meeting.  As noted above, this is the time for our International Consul to provide a State of the Fraternity Report, followed by our International Quaestor (Treasurer) and concluded with our Undergraduate Vice-Consul providing a State of the Undergraduates Report.  Following these Reports, we will conduct the Elections for the Grand Council, followed by our Legislation Work which will include voting on Amendments to our Constitution.

After our Officers have been elected for their two year term and the official business has been completed, we will provide a Break to allow everyone to prepare for our Dinner and Awards Gala.  This wonderful tradition will allow for the presentation of Honors and Awards to our Undergraduates and our Undergraduate Chapters and to Install the New Grand Council. We are also working on a few surprises for our Keynote Speakers as well. Due to the proximity of this Meeting in Florida and the #1 Destination Spot in the Southeast, we eagerly welcome all Alumni to join us as we also recognize distinguished guests and former Honorees.

Sunday, July 24, 2016

The Convention Weekend will conclude with a few wrap-up sessions followed by a Good and Welfare for all attendees.  It is our hope that all attendees leave the weekend with a new sense of pride for the organization and charged with a personal understanding of what they may do to assist the fraternity forward to the future. The day should end at 12:00, with the exception of the newly elected Grand Council Officers. For those Undergraduates and Alumni newly elected to the Grand Council, we will ask these individuals to remain from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM for a New Officer Meet and Greet.
